You wanted to know how i met with an accident  and saved miraculously. I say there is no dearth of good samaritans around who shield you when there is no help. it was in the year 1995. i had no job assighned after my posting at Ahmedabad. i was asked to go to Rajkot for verification of datas for restrengthening of bridges prior to starting the work. Saturdy passed peacefully. The next day was Sunday. As usual i woke up early and went for a cup of tea out side the Rajkot Officers Rest House. The poor lady who was standing near by tea stall came up to me for a cup of tea and i obliged her.The vehicle was requisitioned. The Inspector of Works who was a part of team was asked by me to start channing from Rajkot end.Giving him instructions,we left for remaining part of verification. We reached one of the bridge, after checking the datas, we were returning towards main road. While negotiating the kuchha path, the driver took the jeep up the gradient  and on the high way .No sooner, the jeep was balanced ,it was hit by a speeding  mata dore,The eye witnesse said that the jeep was over turned and after a gap of few minutes ,it  turned to correct position.Few seconds after or minutes,i gained concious and found to my horror that both driver and my AEN were unconcious. The driver was severely injured. i tapped the AEN and he reagined sense. He had minor injury. So i asked to look for luggage and specs. He went around  and located both.
The driver was still unconcious.i felt relieved that i escaped the injury. When i tried to come out of the jeep,i experienced the whirl pool, the building around seemed coplapsing like a shuffling card and i became totally derained.i revealed that it is not possible for without the help to get in to the bus for medical help.Buses  going towards Joonagarh were not stopping ,being the polie case. The Sunday was the day for worshippers going for "JALARAM BAPU".The mata dore was with ladies worshippers. They tried to stop one of bus. they helped us to reach the Joona garh hospital for treatment. The driver was having multuple fractures and very serious. The good samaritans are every where. There is a social group in Rajkot who tend to the patients. They served food as well tea in the hospital.i also can not forget such people. After a few days i was shifted to Sabarmati Railway Health unit. Though i left the Sabarmati a long time back and was in contact over phone. The stream of my acquantants started coming to enquire my health .They also looked after with food not only me but my family as well. All the three were saved  and are appreicating the good hands of good people nothing less than a GOD.
